Fully acredited Solar Heating Installer
New tubes make solar easier
Solar water heating is booming but not every installation can be meet with a flat panel collector. To
give greater flexibility of installation Viessmann has introduced its Vitosol 200 vacuum tube range.
With a direct flow pattern, the Vitosol 200 is designed to be easily installed in virtually any position
and the individual pipes can be rotated towards the sun. The pre-assembled modular design
ensures easy handling with short installation times and the flexible double tube connection system
enables easy hydraulic interconnection.
This means for example that individual tubes can be carried onto the roof where access or weight
might be an issue. Tubes are then plugged into the header.
Thick borosilicate glass and a permanent vacuum sealed glass-metal joint safeguards long term
operational reliability. The Sol-Titanium absorber coating ensures a high level of efficiency. Tubes
are self cleaning.
Matching with Vitosol 200 tubes are the controls needed for the system and its connection to the
cylinder. The Vitosol and Divicon controls are formatted to give system integration with Viessmann
Vitodens 200 gas boilers. To complete the installation Vitocell dual cylinders are available.

Vitodens 343-F
For modern heating, with condensing and solar
technology, the Vitodens 343-F is an energy
efficient and environmentally responsible and
advanced solution for low energy houses.

The Vitodens 343-F consists of the new Vitodens
300 gas fired condensing boiler, with the
intelligent Lambda Pro Control.
The integrated DHW cylinder has a 250 litre
capacity, which is fully wired and ready for
connection, either immediately or in the future, to
a solar heating system, to take advantage of free
solar energy.
Solar hot water systems are capable of providing 65 to 70 % of your hot water over the course of an
average year ,this could be higher in the southern areas of the U.K. but realisticly the figures above can
be used.
The rest of your heating requirement will have to be provided by a main heat source using either
ground source, air source , Gas, Electricity, Oil, Solid fuel, Etc.

Ground and air source will be ideal for new build properties with high insulation and underfloor heating
systems, as the lower heats generated by these units work well in these situations.

With houses using existing radiator technology it may be better to upgrade the main heat source with a
high quality weather compensated gas condensing boiler.

For this reason potential customers should ensure that they choose an installer that can provide
installation and proper advice on all fuels and is also ideally gas safe registered as there is a high
possibility that their knowledge will be very valuable.
